Mateo Pulcini defeated Missouri senior Virgilio Paz on the second extra hole at Lima Golf Club in Peru.
Both players closed with 2-under 68 to finish regulation tied at 5-under 275.
Pulcini holed an 18-foot par on the first playoff hole and secured the title with a 3-foot par on the second.
The victory awards entries to the Masters, the U.S. Open, and The Open Championship.
It was only the second playoff in the tournament’s history and extends Argentina’s success with a third champion.
