Puhdys Release Surprise Live Album from 1996 Concert

Nine years after disbanding, the iconic rock band unveils a historic live recording from their performance at the Berlin Waldbühne.

The album, titled 'Live At Rockpalast 1996', will be released on October 25 on CD, DVD, and LP.
The Puhdys' 34-minute set featured eight songs, performed during a festival with bands from both East and West Germany.
Singer Dieter 'Maschine' Birr recalls the performance as a 'gigantic' experience shared with fellow musicians.
The band decided not to perform an encore due to a strict schedule, causing disappointment among fans.
The Puhdys, formed in 1969, were celebrated as the most popular rock group in East Germany before disbanding in 2016.
