Puerto Rican Homeowner, 84, Sues Bad Bunny Over House Used in Film and Concert Residency

The San Juan complaint seeks at least $1 million over alleged unauthorized use of his Humacao home, citing loss of privacy.

Overview

  • Román Carrasco Delgado filed the suit in Puerto Rico’s Court of First Instance naming Bad Bunny and co-defendants Rimas Entertainment LLC, Move Concerts PR INC, and A1 Productions, LLC, and alleging illicit enrichment.
  • The complaint says the salmon-colored house appeared in a January short film and was replicated as “la casita” for the artist’s 30-concert residency at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum.
  • Filmmakers allegedly took photos and measurements at the property and used them without permission to build an exact copy for the shows.
  • Carrasco, who says he cannot read or write, alleges his signature was taken on a blank phone screen and digitally transferred to two contracts he did not understand, which he argues are void.
  • He says he was paid $5,200 while the video drew about 22 million views, and he reports daily visitors and social-media exposure causing emotional distress; representatives for Bad Bunny did not immediately comment.
