Public Broadcasters Protest 'Government-Funded' Twitter Labels, Exit Platform

Swedish Radio has announced it is quitting Twitter because the platform has lost relevance for a Swedish audience.
The CBC has paused its Twitter activity after the platform labeled it as "government-funded media."
The CBC and other outlets argue the label is misleading and undermines their credibility and independence.
Twitter has also labeled NPR, PBS, BBC, ABC and SBS as "government-funded media."
NPR, PBS and CBC have quit Twitter in protest while others have threatened to follow.
