Overview
- Shortly after 5:30am on November 2, a man and a woman allegedly forced entry to a house on Springfield Avenue in West Belfast, where the male suspect reportedly struck the female occupant on the head with a hammer multiple times.
- A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were arrested in the West Belfast case on suspicion of offences including aggravated burglary, criminal damage, and multiple grievous bodily harm counts, and both remain in custody.
- At around 11:30am on November 1 in Dungannon’s Altmore Drive, a woman in her 40s sustained a serious leg injury, received first aid from attending officers, and was taken to hospital.
