• Officers launched a murder investigation after receiving a report around 10:30pm on Sunday of a man found dead outside a property on Slievenabrock Avenue in Newcastle, Co Down.
• Police later located the body in the back garden of the house and have not disclosed the cause of death as inquiries continue.
• Patrols in the seaside town have been increased to reassure residents during the early stages of the investigation.
• Detectives are asking anyone with photos or video from Slievenabrock Avenue or the wider Tullybrannigan and Bryansford Road areas to submit them via the Major Incident Public Portal, by calling PSNI on 101, or through Crimestoppers.
• Investigators urged the public not to speculate as they examine the circumstances of Mr Small’s death.
