PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was sent off in the 10th minute for a reckless tackle, leaving the team to play with 10 men for over 80 minutes.
Despite being a man down, PSG scored goals in the 23rd and 89th minutes, by Kylian Mbappe and Vitinha respectively.
The win puts PSG four points clear of Nice, who suffered their first defeat of the season at Nantes.
Le Havre produced 22 shots during the match, but only seven were on target.
