PSG Sign Hernandez from Bayern for €40m
- Paris Saint-Germain has signed Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich on a five-year contract for approximately €40 million plus add-ons.
- Hernandez, a versatile player who can play at left-back and centre-back, had a year left on his Bayern deal and joined PSG due to his desire to be with the club.
- He made only 11 appearances last season due to a knee ligament injury suffered at the World Cup in Qatar.
- Hernandez has previously won four Bundesliga titles, the 2020 Champions League, and the 2018 World Cup with France.
- PSG has also made several other signings and recently replaced their manager Christophe Galtier with Luis Enrique, the former coach of Barcelona and Spain.
