PSG Goalkeeper Matvey Safonov Denies Being Edited Out of Team Photo

He said on Telegram he intentionally stayed out of view due to discomfort with group photos.

PSG’s official X account posted a pre-flight group photo for the Qatar trip in which Safonov was not visible.
Safonov wrote that claims of Photoshop were incorrect, saying he purposely hid on the shot.
An earlier club video showed him present, standing behind Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Luka Chevalier.
PSG has traveled to Qatar to face Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup final on December 17.
The 26-year-old, who joined from Krasnodar in summer 2024, has 17 appearances for PSG and started the club’s last three matches.
