Provisional FY25 Data Show Air India Group Posts Rs 9,568 Crore Loss as IndiGo Turns a Profit

  • Reported debt at year-end included Rs 26,879.6 crore for Air India and Rs 67,088.4 crore for IndiGo, with Air India Express at Rs 617.5 crore, SpiceJet at Rs 886 crore, and Akasa Air at Rs 78.5 crore.
  • The minister reiterated that airlines manage their own finances under a deregulated regime and cited policy support through the National Civil Aviation Policy and UDAN, noting no contraction in July capacity.
