Overview
- The alliance will hold a campaign event on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. at Estadio Obras Sanitarias to support Ciudadanos Unidos candidates Martín Lousteau for the lower house and Graciela Ocaña for the Senate in CABA.
- Confirmed attendees include governors Maximiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe), Martín Llaryora (Córdoba), Gustavo Valdés (Corrientes), Carlos Sadir (Jujuy), Claudio Vidal (Santa Cruz) and Ignacio Torres (Chubut).
- Coalition sources say the bloc seeks to demonstrate unity, argue for a robust federal alternative and target 17–20 congressional seats in the Oct. 26 national elections.
- Pullaro said the group was built to compete for national power in 2027, stressed that its members reject kirchnerism and stated they do not aim to topple the current government despite feeling unreciprocated after backing some measures.
- The Buenos Aires push highlights tensions with the alliance’s anti-centralism message, as the program features local candidates Lousteau and Ocaña alongside Florencio Randazzo and Juan Schiaretti.
