Prouni Second-Call Results Published

Overview

• The Ministry of Education posted the second-call Prouni results on Wednesday, August 5, and pre-selected candidates can check their status on the Portal Acesso Único.
• Students who were pre-selected have from August 5 to August 14 to present proof of income, school records and any disability or quota documentation to the private institution that offered the spot, or the scholarship will be lost.
• The 2026/2 edition still offers 471,304 scholarships across 380 undergraduate courses at 879 private institutions, split into 219,725 full (100%) and 251,579 partial (50%) awards with specific quotas for people with disabilities and self-declared black, brown and indigenous candidates.
• Applicants not chosen in any call may join the waiting list by manifesting interest on August 26–27, with results published September 1 and confirmations required from September 1–14.
• Vacancies are unevenly distributed by course and state—for example, Analysis and Development of Systems, Administration and Accounting have the most spots and São Paulo holds the largest state share—which will shape who gains access to private higher education this semester.
