Overview
- Registrations run from 7 to 10 July and must be completed on the Portal Único/Acesso Único using a gov.br account.
- To apply candidates must have taken ENEM 2024 or 2025, have an average of at least 450 points across the five tests and a non‑zero essay, and meet schooling or affirmative‑action criteria.
- Prouni offers 100% and 50% scholarships with per‑person income caps of up to 1.5 minimum wages for full awards and up to 3 minimum wages for partial awards, while public‑school teachers competing for licensure and pedagogy vacancies are exempt from the income limit.
- Applicants may list up to two course choices, select broad competition or quota modalities, change their choices during the registration window with the last selection counting, and classification uses the ENEM edition with the higher average.
- The ministry published the timetable in Edital nº 51/2026 with first call on 15 July, second call on 5 August and a waitlist phase that requires manifestation on 26–27 August with results on 1 September, and Fies reopens on 14 July as a financing alternative for those not awarded Prouni grants.
