Overview
- The confirmation window for pre-selected candidates in Prouni 2026/2 runs through Friday, July 24, and requires delivery of the documents listed in the public edital to the private institution that made the offer.
- Institutions must accept files in person or electronically, issue a receipt when they get documentation, and may ask for extra papers if information is incomplete or inconsistent.
- Failure to deliver documents on time or presenting inconsistent proof can lead the candidate to lose the scholarship or have the application denied for lack of a confirmed seat.
- Prouni 2026/2 is offering 471,304 scholarships across 380 courses at 879 private institutions, split into 219,725 full awards and 251,579 partial awards, with reserved quotas for people with disabilities and self-declared Black, Brown and Indigenous candidates.
- Students not confirmed in the first call should prepare for the second call on August 5 and the late-August waiting-list process, and those awarded 50% scholarships can seek FIES loans only if their course and institution participate.
