Overview
- Registration is free and must be made through the MEC’s Portal Único, with applications opening Tuesday, July 7 and closing Friday, July 10.
- To apply candidates must have finished high school, taken the ENEM in 2024 or 2025, have at least a 450-point average across the five tests and a non‑zero essay score, and treineiro participants are ineligible.
- Prouni offers full scholarships and 50% partial scholarships with family per‑person income limits set at up to 1.5 minimum wages for full awards and up to 3 minimum wages for partial awards.
- Ranking uses the ENEM edition with the candidate’s best average plus the chosen modality, course and institution, with the first-call results due July 15 and document verification set for July 15–24 and the second call on August 5 with verification August 5–14; the waitlist period runs August 26–27 with its result on September 1.
- The edital preserves affirmative and special modalities—including quotas for PCD and self-declared Black, parda or indigenous candidates and an income‑cap exemption for active public‑school teachers seeking licensure or pedagogy—measures that could widen access to private higher education for low‑income and underrepresented students.
