Proton Launches Desktop Mail App with New Features

Initially available for Visionary subscribers, the app includes Proton Mail and Calendar, with wider access planned for 2024.

Proton has released a desktop version of its Proton Mail app, initially available only to Visionary subscribers.
The desktop app includes Proton Mail and Proton Calendar, with offline access to emails promised soon.
Proton has also introduced encrypted auto-forwarding for paid users, maintaining end-to-end encryption when forwarding emails between Proton Mail accounts.
New features also include email snoozing, attachment previews, and improvements to Proton Calendar.
Access to the desktop app will be expanded to all users in early 2024.
