Protesters Block Berlin Street After Antifa Event, Police Investigate

Around 100 people disrupted traffic in Kreuzberg, clashing with a driver and prompting police action.

Participants from an Antifa-related event at the SO36 music club in Kreuzberg moved onto Oranienstraße, blocking traffic on Saturday evening.
The group displayed a banner reading 'All Together Against Fascism' and ignited pyrotechnics during the demonstration.
A confrontation occurred between 10 to 15 protesters and a 55-year-old driver, whose rear license plate was stolen and whose car was struck without sustaining damage.
Police used physical force to remove protesters from the street after they reassembled following the initial incident.
Investigations are ongoing into charges of breach of the peace, violations of the assembly law, and theft related to the incident.
