Overview

  • Fiscals Diego Luciani and Sergio Mola submitted a 21‑page motion asking Tribunal Oral Federal 2 to execute asset seizures against Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and other convicted defendants.
  • The request rejects defense claims of nullities and argues the criminal tribunal is competent to carry out the decomiso ordered as reparation for the Santa Cruz public‑works fraud.
  • The forfeiture totals AR$684,990,350,139.86, and prosecutors listed candidate assets for seizure including bank accounts, companies, real estate and rural properties.
  • Judges Jorge Gorini, Rodrigo Giménez Uriburu and Andrés Basso are reviewing the motion after recently dismissing some nullity arguments and granting cassation on the update of the decomiso amount.
  • Separately, the government appealed a civil court ruling that halted a AR$22.3 billion damages claim, a proceeding distinct from the criminal enforcement now sought in TOF 2.
