- At Thursday’s Liverpool Crown Court hearing prosecutors introduced 24 additional counts, including six charges related to children and two infants, bringing the indictment against Doyle to 31 offences

- The expanded charges cover multiple counts of wounding with intent, causing and attempting grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and affray, naming 29 complainants
- Investigators continue to analyse CCTV footage, witness statements and forensic material from the May 26 incident in which a Ford Galaxy allegedly drove into crowds on Water Street, injuring 134 pedestrians with 50 hospitalised
- Liverpool Crown Court will hear Doyle’s pleas on September 4 and has provisionally listed a three- to four-week trial to begin on November 24
