Overview

• Federal prosecutor Eduardo Taiano directed DATIP to extract and map all communications tied to $LIBRA from seized devices and to identify any links with phone lines attributed to Javier and Karina Milei.
• The order covers messages across WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn, call records, geolocation data, images, documents and emails, with recovery of deleted material and detection of crypto wallet apps.
• Investigators will search for contacts with Hayden Mark Davis, Julian Peh, Charles Hoskinson, Sebastián Serrano and Bartosz Lipinski, and for references to the Tech Forum Argentina event and exchanges such as Binance, Kraken and Ripio.
• Forensic work will analyze devices seized on March 6 from local suspects Mauricio Novelli and former CNV adviser Sergio Morales, including their phones, a MacBook Air, a desktop CPU and external storage.
• Separately, Judge Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi deemed a request to compel officials by public force improper; six deputies met him to seek access to the case file and they plan to appeal the ruling.
