Proper Pubs' Christmas Selection Box Drive Opens Nov. 1 Across the UK
More than 220 community pubs will channel donated treats to local charities during a drive paired with a Claire House fundraiser running Nov. 10–Dec. 21.
Overview
- Customers can drop off chocolate selection boxes from Nov. 1 to Dec. 14 at participating pubs for distribution to local groups.
- Named sites include The Cavendish in Keighley, the Crown Hotel and Malt Kiln Inn in Bradford, the Salisbury Arms and Bricklayers Arms in Southampton, and the White Horse in Gosport.
- Twenty-eight West Midlands pubs are taking part, including venues in Wolverhampton, Worcester, Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent, and Hereford.
- Proper Pubs reports almost 50,000 selection boxes and advent calendars delivered over the past three years through previous drives.
- A separate Claire House Children’s Hospice collection runs Nov. 10–Dec. 21, and Admiral Taverns says more than £50,000 has been raised for the charity so far this year.
