Prominent Ohio Farmer and Social Media Star David Brandt Dies at 76

David Brandt, a longtime proponent of sustainable agriculture and no-till farming, died in a car crash in Illinois.
Brandt became famous for a 2012 comment about farming being "honest work" that was turned into a popular meme.
He owned a 736-acre farm in Carroll, Ohio where he ran a cover crop seed company and seed-cleaning business.
Brandt was a Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam.
Brandt helped popularize no-till farming and sustainable agriculture techniques starting in 1971.
