Prominent ITV Host Phillip Schofield Resigns After Affair, Dropped By Agent and Channel

Phillip Schofield admitted to having an affair with a younger male staffer at ITV while married.
Schofield has resigned from ITV “with immediate effect” and pulled out of hosting the British Soap Awards.
Schofield’s talent agency YMU confirmed they have “parted company” with him due to his dishonesty.
ITV said they feel “badly let down” by Schofield’s “deceit” but have accepted his resignation.
Schofield apologized for lying about the relationship and denied reports of a superinjunction.
