- During his tenure, Wolfe helped to force the withdrawal of 28 dangerous medications and won limits on the use of 10 others.
- Wolfe was a fierce critic of Big Pharma and the FDA, successfully lobbying against FDA rulings on more than two dozen dangerous or ineffective drugs until they were removed from the market.
