Prom Dress Sale at Georgia Gas Station Ends in Violent Altercation and Arrests

An attempted theft during a prom dress exchange led to a physical confrontation, with three women now facing charges.

The incident occurred at a RaceTrac gas station in Gwinnett County, Georgia, where an 18-year-old met her former friend, Morgan Flinchum, to sell a prom dress.
Flinchum, along with two accomplices, orchestrated an attempt to steal the dress, leading to a confrontation in the gas station’s bathroom and parking lot.
Surveillance footage captured the victim defending herself, including flipping one of the attackers to the ground after being placed in a chokehold.
Gwinnett County Police arrested Morgan Flinchum, Leila DeJager, and Kaylee George, charging them with theft and battery-related offenses.
Authorities emphasized the importance of conducting person-to-person sales at designated e-commerce safe zones monitored by police to avoid similar incidents.
