Profeco Sanctions Tulum Tourist Businesses After Probe Finds Steep Prices

  • Profeco suspended outlets including Nueva Wal‑Mart de México, Chedraui Tulum and Súper San Francisco de Asís for missing prices and warranty information, warned restaurants such as Burrito Amor and Batey Mojito to correct issues, noted convenience‑store prices above national averages with GO MART highest and reported Kore Tulum and Villa Miramar Tulum as inactive at inspection.
