Overview
- The campaign covers Renault Kwid vehicles from model years 2022–2024 built between May 5, 2021 and May 12, 2023 in Mexico.
- Renault identified a risk of cracks or rupture in the rear-axle mounting housing under poor road conditions or repeated impacts, which could lead to loss of control or an accident.
- Authorized dealers will inspect the left and right rear-axle mounting housings and will reinforce or replace components as needed at no charge to owners.
- Launched on July 15, 2025, the campaign remains active indefinitely under Profeco oversight, and Renault reported no related incidents in Mexico as of July 17, 2025.
