Overview

• Production has begun in Sydney on Stan’s first original medical drama, the six-part series The F Ward.
• Anna Friel leads an ensemble that includes Ioane Sa’ula, Lola Bond, Dan Wyllie, Alex Fitzalan, Emily Barclay, Annie Boyle and Rishab Kern.
• The story centers on brilliant yet flawed medical interns on a last‑chance placement at Sydney’s under‑funded Pines Hospital.
• Co-created by Dan Edwards and Kelsey Munro, the series is produced by Roadshow Rough Diamond in co-production with CBS Studios, written by Munro, Jessica Tuckwell, Shanti Gudgeon, Nick Coyle and Jack Yabsley, and directed by Natalie Bailey and Neil Sharma.
• Major investment comes from Stan and Screen Australia with support from Screen NSW’s Made in NSW – TV Drama Fund, which projects about 550 local jobs.
