Process Server Arrested at Travis Kelce’s Home After Attempt to Serve Taylor Swift in Baldoni–Lively Case

The arrest follows a judge’s refusal to extend a bid to depose Swift in the legal fight between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.

Overview

  • Leawood police confirmed a Sept. 15 arrest of Justin Lee Fisher, 48, on a misdemeanor criminal trespassing charge after an alleged fence jump at Kelce’s gated Kansas residence.
  • Fisher, a former police officer now working as a private investigator, was reportedly attempting to deliver deposition papers tied to the Baldoni–Lively litigation.
  • The incident occurred around 2 a.m. and was reported by Kelce’s head of executive protection; portions of the initial police report were marked restricted.
  • It remains unclear whether Swift was successfully served; two days earlier, Judge Lewis Liman denied Baldoni’s request to extend the deadline to depose her, and her lawyers said she did not agree to a deposition.
  • Fisher was released after posting bond and is due in Leawood Municipal Court on Oct. 15, as discovery disputes continue toward a March 9, 2026 trial date.
