Overview
- Assunta Carbone, 54, was found dead in her Rivalta apartment with signs of blunt-force trauma
- Her husband, Alessandro Raneri, 55, fled the scene and died by suicide after jumping into Lago Grande di Avigliana
- Carabinieri from Orbassano, Moncalieri and the provincial command have sealed off the couple’s apartment and interviewed neighbors and witnesses
- The weapon believed to have been used in the killing has not been recovered and is thought to lie at the bottom of the lake
