Pro Surfer Mikala Jones Dies at 44 After Freak Surfing Accident in Indonesia

Mikala Jones, a 44-year-old professional surfer from Hawaii, died after his femoral artery was severed by his surfboard fin while surfing in the Mentawai Islands of Indonesia.
Jones was known for his talent in riding inside the tube of waves and capturing mesmerizing first-person images and videos while surfing using GoPro cameras.
His daughter Isabella announced his tragic passing on Instagram, saying "life will never be the same" without her father.
The surfing community, including stars like Kelly Slater and Mick Fanning, mourned the loss of Jones, calling him a "legend" and incredible surfer and artist.
Jones leaves behind his wife, two daughters, sister, and two brothers, who will carry on his legacy in the surfing world.
