15 Arrested as Demonstrators Disrupt Traffic, Call for End to U.S. Aid to Israel

Pro-Palestinian protesters demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Gaza war blocked major roads in Washington, D.C., disrupting morning rush-hour traffic.
15 people were arrested during the demonstrations, according to Capitol Police and Park Police.
The protesters aimed to block the commutes of people working in the White House, Congress and State Department to demand an immediate and permanent cease-fire and the end of all U.S. aid to Israel.
The Palestinian Youth Movement, which organized the protest, also demanded an end to Israeli 'occupation' and 'U.S. complicity in Zionism.'
