Around fifty protesters gathered in Lille, organized by the Association France-Palestine Solidarité, to accuse BNP Paribas of financing Israeli military efforts.
The demonstration was marked by symbolic acts, such as displaying a large Palestinian flag and placing shoes to represent civilian casualties in Gaza.
BNP Paribas has denied any financial involvement in the conflict, stating it acted only as an intermediary in a bond issuance for Israel.
The protest follows similar actions by climate activists in Paris, who have also called for BNP Paribas to cease financial activities linked to Israel.
The bank has responded to the allegations by labeling them as defamatory and has taken legal action against previous acts of vandalism.
