DAG, founded in 2023, is connected to Jet-Pac, an organization focused on building American Muslim political infrastructure.
The group had planned to meet at the museum before moving their demonstration to the White House, under the banner 'Stop the Genocide in Gaza.'
DAG claims the event was misrepresented as an anti-Semitic gathering and was intended to educate the healthcare community about genocide.
Earlier this month, DAG hosted a 'ceasefire' protest that included Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), and Cori Bush (D-Mo.).
