The activists criticized Trump for treating Gaza as his personal property, stating their actions were meant to demonstrate resistance against such policies.
Scottish police confirmed an investigation is underway after receiving reports of vandalism early Saturday morning.
The Turnberry resort, one of two Trump-owned golf properties in Scotland, has faced previous controversies and has not hosted the British Open since Trump's acquisition in 2014.
