Overview

• A Cullman County grand jury charged Davis with three counts of manslaughter and two counts of first-degree assault, plus misdemeanors for reckless operation, boating-rule violations and lacking a boater safety certificate.
• The April 16 collision occurred around 7 a.m. during the Tackle Warehouse Invitational on Lewis Smith Lake near the Miller Flats area.
• Victims were identified as Joey M. Broom, John K. Clark and Jeffrey C. Little, with Clark and Little drowning after being thrown overboard and Broom pronounced dead at the scene.
