Bild, cited by Stern, reports that Gabriele zu Leiningen became the new head of Porsche’s real-estate firm CG17 shortly after the ceremony, a claim not independently confirmed. The same reporting attributes to CG17 two Mallorca homes valued at about €18 million and nearly €25 million and two estates in South Africa, without separate corroboration. Zu Leiningen, 62, is a trained jurist from the Thyssen-Henne family and a former spouse of Karim Aga Khan IV, and she has been involved with CG17 since 2023 in progressively larger roles. Through their holding, the Porsche and Piëch families control 53.3% of Volkswagen’s ordinary shares, and the family’s wealth is estimated at roughly €15.5 billion, according to Manager Magazin.
