• Principios officially opens on July 11 at Centre del Carme and runs through Oct. 26.
• Ten foundational graffiti artists—including Vinz Feel Free, Julieta xlf and Xelon—have painted site-specific murals on the gallery’s black-walled Sala Carlos Pérez.
• Each mural is complemented by a vitrine of iconic artifacts, a chronological panel and three original early works that trace each artist’s beginnings.
• The show features a posthumous tribute to Hyuro with her works and personal effects alongside politically charged pieces such as Julieta xlf’s denunciation of violence against Palestinians.
• All site-specific murals will be erased when the exhibition closes, underscoring the tension between street art’s transience and the museum’s preservation efforts.
