Overview
- Kensington Palace confirmed the fifth Together at Christmas will be held on Friday, 5 December, at Westminster Abbey with 1,600 guests connected to acts of love and kindness.
- Readings and performances will feature Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith, Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor alongside the Westminster Abbey choir.
- Fifteen linked community carol services will take place around the UK, hosted by lord-lieutenants and supported by The Royal Foundation.
- The service will include an homage to Katharine, Duchess of Kent, with young musicians from her co-founded charity Future Talent performing before guests enter.
- ITV will broadcast the Westminster Abbey event on Christmas Eve on ITV1 and ITVX with a repeat on Christmas Day.
