• The Juan Sebastián Elcano docked at Pier 88 in New York at 7:10 a.m. local time on June 4 carrying 76 midshipmen, including Princess Leonor of Asturias.
• Princess Leonor is undertaking a five-month naval training voyage that began in January in Cádiz and has visited ports from Salvador de Bahía to Cartagena de Indias.
• Upon docking, the ship’s midshipmen and crew waved hats to the tune of the naval march 'Ganando barlovento', with the princess joining the salute from the deck.
