- On Nov. 27, the Princess of Wales visited the Anna Freud Centre in London to announce a new workforce initiative centered on prevention in the early years.
- The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood has commissioned Anna Freud, in partnership with the Institute of Health Visiting, to create a training curriculum for health visitors and early‑years staff.
- The programme will use the Centre’s Shaping Us framework to help professionals support parent–child relationships and early social and emotional development.
- During the visit, the Princess met parents and babies, joined expert roundtables with leaders including CEO Eamon McCrory, and focused on relationships as a protective factor against later mental‑health problems.
