- In his first official trip to Brazil, William received the key to Rio from Mayor Eduardo Paes during a ceremony at Pão de Açúcar and greeted tourists taking photos.

 - On Copacabana Beach, he played volleyball with adolescents from Carol Solberg’s Instituto Levante and observed a lifeguard education activity with children.
 - The Earthshot Prize ceremony is set for Wednesday at the Museu do Amanhã and will honor five winners selected from 15 finalists, including two from Brazil.
 - He will also attend the United for Wildlife global summit organized with Brazil’s Foreign Ministry, Interpol, UNODC, and the Federal Police, as Rio enforces road closures and tight security around venues.
