• Released for World Mental Health Day, the eight-minute film shows William visiting campaigner Rhian Mannings at her Cardiff home to discuss loss, stigma and speaking up early.
• Mannings’ one-year-old son, George, died in 2012 and her husband, Paul, took his own life five days later; she later founded the bereavement charity 2wish.
• The Royal Foundation has committed around £1 million over an initial three-year period to establish the National Suicide Prevention Network.
• Founding partners span the four nations through James’ Place, PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland, Mikeysline and the Jac Lewis Foundation, working alongside the Hub of Hope.
• Chaired by Professor Ann John, the network will coordinate prevention and postvention support, foster collaboration across the UK, and improve early conversations about suicide.
