Prince Rupert Carnival Worker Dies Near Ride as Authorities Investigate

A multi-agency investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.

A memorial, drum circle and ceremony were held in Prince Rupert, B.C., on Wednesday after the death of a worker on the opening night of the Prince Rupert Summer Carnival.
Mounties say officers responded to a report of an injured man at the carnival at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday and he was later pronounced dead.
