Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Set

Ubisoft confirms the long-awaited remake has entered full production after multiple delays and development resets.

Originally announced in 2020, the remake has faced significant development challenges and delays.
Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind the original 2003 game, is now leading the project.
The title has dropped 'Remake' from its name, now simply called Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Other Prince of Persia titles, The Lost Crown and The Rogue Prince of Persia, received updates at Ubisoft Forward.
No gameplay footage was shown; only a brief teaser was released confirming the 2026 launch window.
