Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Donate $250K to Ashley Biden’s Trauma Support Center

The Archewell Foundation, led by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, donated $250,000 to Ashley Biden’s Women’s Wellness (Spa)ce in Philadelphia, marking its largest charitable grant of 2023.
The center provides resources such as nutritious food, exercise, meditation, and therapeutic interventions to support women affected by trauma, including formerly incarcerated individuals.
Archewell’s 2023 tax filings revealed $5.3 million in grants raised, including a $5 million anonymous contribution, with $1.3 million distributed to various charitable causes.
Other Archewell initiatives highlighted in its annual report include the Welcome Project for resettled refugee women and the Parents Network addressing online harms faced by children.
The Sussexes' close ties to the Biden family have drawn scrutiny, though the foundation emphasized its mission to promote mental health, community well-being, and empowerment of women and girls.
