Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks launches Senate bid

Angela Alsobrooks, executive of Prince George's County, announced she will run for Senate in Maryland this week.
She plans to announce her campaign in a video Tuesday and rally Wednesday.
Alsobrooks is expected to get support from prominent Maryland Democrats.
Three other Democrats are running: Rep. David Trone, Montgomery Council Member Will Jawando, and Jerome Segal.
Alsobrooks would be the only black female Senator and plans to highlight her record on crime.
