Prince George Takes First Flying Lesson at Age 11

The young royal followed family tradition by learning to fly with his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, watching from the ground.

The lesson lasted about an hour, with George flying under the guidance of an instructor while his parents observed.
George's interest in flying mirrors that of his father, Prince William, and great-grandfather, Prince Philip, both of whom were trained pilots.
The flying lesson took place on the last day of George's summer vacation before he returned to school at Lambrook School in Berkshire.
The family spent time in the airfield's clubhouse, and both parents were reported to be relaxed and supportive during the lesson.
