• Prime Video released the first teaser trailer and first-look images for its upcoming suspense series The Girlfriend.
• All six episodes will premiere September 10 exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories.
• The adaptation of Michelle Frances’s novel follows Laura, played by Robin Wright, as she grows increasingly suspicious of her son’s new girlfriend, Cherry (Olivia Cooke).
• The ensemble cast also features Laurie Davidson, Waleed Zuaiter, Tayna Moodie, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Karen Henthorn, Anna Chancellor, Leo Suter and Francesca Corney.
• Imaginarium Productions and Amazon MGM Studios produce the series with Naomi Sheldon and Gabbie Asher adapting the screenplay and Robin Wright serving as an executive producer.
