Prime Video Adds Peacock Premium Plus in Expanded NBCUniversal Pact

The move gives Amazon customers ad-free Peacock billing inside Prime Video at $16.99.

Overview

  • Peacock Premium Plus is now available through Prime Video Channels for $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year.
  • The broader agreement renews Peacock’s availability on Fire TV, keeps Universal Pictures titles available to buy or rent on Prime Video, and maintains Prime Video access on Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xumo.
  • Access through Prime Video adds NBC sports programming such as Sunday Night Football, Premier League matches, and live Olympic coverage to Amazon’s lineup.
  • This is Peacock’s first inclusion in Amazon’s Channels offering, where it joins more than 100 subscription options.
  • Comcast says Peacock has 41 million subscribers and narrowed quarterly losses to $101 million, reinforcing NBCU’s push for carefully structured third‑party distribution.
